We celebrated the beauty and mystery of the spring migration at The International Migratory Bird Day was held May 8th at Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge. Its an annual celebration of one of the most important and spectacular events in the life a migratory bird-
its journey between its summer and winter homes. The event was created by Partners in Flight to focus public attention on the need for action to conserve birds and their habitats. It is now celebrated in the United States, Canada, Mexico and countries throughout South America and the Caribbean. This years event was a huge sucess, thanks to all of those that helped out.
